Kids in the Clerk House

Kids in the House is a website that is created by the Office of the Clerk of the department known as the U.S House of Representatives as a public service. Out of all of the government websites, this is a bit unique in that it is designed to educate children on the legislative branch of the Federal Government of the United States of America. The website is sectioned off into “Young Learners”, “Grade School”, “Middle School”, and “High School”. If you visit the “Grade School” section, you will find a large assortment of topics including “What is Congress?”, “How Laws Are Made”, and “Around the Capitol”. In addition to this, children may learn about “How a Bill Becomes a Law”, “Black Americans in Congress”, and other topics such as “Women in Congress”.
