Healthfair Foundation's support to the Hope Now's Back to School Bash event.

Healthfair Foundation was once again the primary sponsor of the Hope Now’s 14th annual  back to school bash held on August 3rd at the Fashion Square Mall in Orlando. This massive event served nearly 18,000 children and families this year. It is believed that this event is one of the largest events of its kind in the nation.
Despite the improved economy, it is estimated that nearly 25 percent of children in Central Florida still live below the poverty level. We proudly provided free back packs, school supplies, books, haircuts, vision, dental and hearing screening to thousands of kids to prepare them for a dignified start of the new school year. James Ekbatani , the chairman of Healthfair foundation presented a check for $15,000 dollars to Mr. Michael Radka, the chairman of Hope Now. In addition, organizations affiliated with the Healthfair Foundation such as BNY Mellon Bank donated an additional $10,000 to Hope Now.
“I cannot think of a more worthy charity to support like the Hope Now and their back to school campaign. This group is headed by Michael and Karla Radka and is made up of 100 percent volunteers (none paid) who have dedicated the past 14 years to help the children of central Florida during the back to school season" said James Ekbatani.
